The film Zwigato, directed by Nandita Das, could not earn much on the second day as well. Kapil Sharma’s film Zwigato released in cinemas in India this Friday after premiering at several international film festivals and receiving positive reviews. The first day collections of the film were shocking but on the second day it has seen an increase of 44.19 percent. Still the collection of the film was not very special.
Earned only so many crores in two days
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh informed that the film’s second day collection is Rs 62 lakh. He shared that it is slightly more than the first day collection of the film. The film needs to make a miraculous turnaround/jump on the third day. Adding two days’ earnings, the total collection of Zwigato has gone up to Rs 1.05 crore. This is the third film made under the direction of Nandita Das and it hit only 409 screens.
#zwigato witnesses an upward trend on Day 2 [+44.19%], but the 2-day total remains very low due to its biz on Day 1… Biz needs to have a miraculous turnaround/jump on Day 3 for a respectable weekend total… Fri 43 lacs, Sat 62 lacs. Total: ₹ 1.05 cr. #India biz. pic.twitter.com/DY5eReLa6J

Such is the story of Zwigato
Zwigato is Kapil’s first film in the lead role since Firangi, which released in 2017. Its story revolves around Manas (played by Kapil Sharma), who tries to make a living as a food delivery man after losing his job in a factory. Manas is the sole breadwinner of a family of 5, consisting of his wife Pratima (played by Shahana Goswami), their two children and an ailing mother. The film focuses on the socio-economic problems faced by the working class.
Kapil has done great work in acting
Talking about acting, Kapil Sharma has presented a completely different image from his popular image. Kapil Sharma’s body language, facial expressions show his hard work, just a little bit of language is left. Shahana Goswami has once again settled into her character. The ease with which she has lived the character of Pratima on screen. he is under-appreciated
